With 8 years of experience at the decks, Gian Carlo Valle aka Mr. B, was born in Lima-Peru in 1984. He first came into contact with music when he was just 8 years old, then he started playing the piano, and after that he started playing the drums when he was 12 years old.
Soon his passion for music develops tremendously which flourish an interest for djing in 2000. He was invited to a huge rave party in his country, there he exposed to the electronic music scene for the fist time. He watched and listened to the DJs.
His curiosity and the help of their friend brought him backstage where he observed closely the way the DJs were mixing music, since this moment he knew he wanted to be a DJ. A week later he started to buy his first music equipment, two turntables and a mixer. He frequently attended more raves feeling love and identification in the entire electronic music scene.
Throughout the rest of the years there were a lot of DJs that influenced Mr. B the most are Sasha and John Digweed, Luke Dzierzek, James Zabiela, Lee Burridge, Trevor Loveys, Richie Hawtin,Troy Pierce, Anja Schneider, Magda, Tiefschwarz, Phonique, Trentemoller,Fukkk Offf & more in 2002 Mr.B moved to the United States to follow his dreams, there he started a new project known as Underground Sounds Radio www.underground-sounds-radio.com where he works along with other DJs from around the world.
In 2004, having enough knowledge and experience as a dj, he begins mixing in parties making himself known and far-famed. That same year, due to his great implacable talent, he’s summoned to mix in Chicago, at the same time innovating the scene where he lives having span at the best clubs in Cincinnati Ohio.
His music tends to be difficult to classify stylistically and is best described as a distinctive blend of electro and Minimal techno music, Electro House which is dance-floor oriented, yet at the same time has noticeable experimental & IDM elements. Mr. B’s sets are rare and upbeat, you could dance the night away or just enjoy the sounds nevertheless, and you cannot miss his set.
